Also known as "power peel" or "micropeel". Microdermabrasions
have been used in Europe for years and have recently been reintroduced in
the U.S. The micropeel process uses inert tiny crystals which painlessly abrade
the skin surface while leaving the individual with no downtime. Though many
aestheticians advertise microdermabrasion, only high intensity machines are
available in physicians offices.
The micropeel or resurfacing technique, improves a wide range of skin abnormalities and pigmentation problems in both men and women and is remarkably effective for all skin types and conditions (including mild acne).
